Alan Marcovitz

Since joining the Legal Department in 1987, Alan has risen through the ranks of the company in increasingly senior positions until he was appointed President of Westcliff in 2006. He is also Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors. Prior to joining Westcliff, Alan worked at the law firm Torys and at Bramalea Limited in Toronto, having obtained three Bachelor’s degrees from McGill University, in Commerce, Civil Law, and Common Law. He is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and sits on the Board of Directors of the Jewish General Hospital.

Adam Marcovitz

Adam Marcovitz is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and negotiating the acquisition of investment opportunities, managing institutional partnerships and business development. Adam joined Westcliff in 2020 after spending three years at a real estate asset management firm in Toronto where he worked on the underwriting of development projects and the management of assets across Canada. His career has allowed him to gain extensive experience in the retail, office, residential, and industrial real estate markets as he sourced new opportunities, negotiated agreements, and conducted due diligence. He received his BCom in Investment Management from McGill University, graduating with high honors in 2017.

Backed by almost 20 years’ experience in property management, Nicolas is currently Vice-President of Leasing at Westcliff. Nicolas holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial relations, and first joined the company as General Manager in 2005. He was subsequently appointed Regional Director of Operations, before becoming Senior Director and Vice-President of the Leasing team. He has also held senior positions with other well-known groups, including Choice Properties Real Estate Investment Trust and Oxford Properties. Nicolas is recognized for his leadership, ambition, loyalty, and professionalism. Over the course of his career, he has served on a number of chamber of commerce boards.

A member of the Quebec Bar and a graduate of McGill University in commerce, civil law, and common law, Sharyn boasts more than 30 years’ experience in commercial and real estate law. As Vice-President and General Counsel at Westcliff, she oversees the company’s legal affairs and manages a team of lawyers and paralegals. Before joining Westcliff, she worked in private practice for a major Montreal law firm, where she specialized in commercial real estate and financing. She is a recognized leader with strong team spirit and interpersonal skills. She upholds the highest standards of professional integrity and has solid problem-solving, negotiation, and drafting skills.

Robert Béasse

Robert joined Westcliff in 2019 and has over 25 years of professional experience as a chartered accountant (CPA) in the real estate, manufacturing, and public sectors. His career path includes management positions at Polaris Realties and Ivanhoe Cambridge. Now Vice-President of Finance at Westcliff, Robert is known for his analytical mind and out-of-the-box thinking. A practical and creative entrepreneurial leader, he has extensive expertise in financial reporting, taxation, compliance, treasury, risk management, financing, and IT projects. He’s also actively involved in his community, serving on the Club aquatique CAMO natation board from 2018 to 2023.

Hugues Dupuis

Hugues brings more than 30 years’ experience in construction project development and management to his current role as Vice-President of Development at Westcliff. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering and a master’s degree in civil engineering project management and has played major roles in the completion of numerous large-scale projects for Magil Construction Corporation, SNC-Lavalin, and Axor Construction Canada Inc. A rigorous and unequivocal leader, Hugues communicates effectively to mobilize teams and successfully carry out his diverse mandates. He’s also a member of the OIQ, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, and the Quebec Building Envelope Council.

Sébastien has been Director of Construction at Westcliff since 2020. He holds a degree in construction management from École de technologie supérieure and has over 20 years’ experience in heavy residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional construction. Throughout his career, he’s worked for general contractors and as a project manager at Magil Construction, where he worked for 17 years. Widely recognized for his unrivalled expertise, methodological rigour, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail, Sébastien is a key asset to the team who ensures the successful completion of all our real estate projects.
